Mission Statement To help girls, through reading, writing, and speaking become powerful communicators in word, thought, and deed. We believe... That words have power and that language builds and shapes character. Words are powerful tools that can inspire and encourage or hurt and maim. We want to help girls use this wonderful gift of language to bring positive change to the world around them. We have a heart for girls... We want to work with parents, caregivers, teachers, and youth influencers to help each girl in the Precious! Pretty! Powerful!™ Girls Book Club become a powerful, positive presence in her world. How do we help girls do this? By working with girls to read good books, write about what they read in their Precious! Pretty! Powerful!™ Journal, and speak to others about what they read and write. We facilitate this process by using books, journals, and individual and group activities as tools. The focus of our program is to help girls become not only readers but writers and speakers. When the girls you love attend the Precious! Pretty! Powerful!™ Girls Book Club, they become communicators!
